Stickers are easy to apply to the corresponding pieces. If you're familiar with the game, you'll probably have no problem finding the right place for the stickers, but if you are, here's a guide to each sticker.
Paleo doesn't use many different tokens. There are three wooden components in the box. These are the food, the stone and the wood. They differ significantly in both shape and colour. Each token is supplied with two stickers, on opposite sides.

The wood token will be the easiest to work with when applying the stickers. All sides are the same, so any two stickers from the sheets will fit perfectly.
​
However, the food and the stone are different, each side is a shaped differently, so you will need to use two different stickers for the two sides. On the sheet, the two sides are always opposite each other. It's hard to miss, but if you do, no problem! The stickers can be removed and adjusted!​​​​
Unfortunately, wood as a material is not perfect. Not all tokens are the same, there are slight variations in size, shape! The stickers are sized to be slightly smaller, so a possible manufacturing error is rarely a problem.
Sometimes thinner pieces break off during production. For example, a piece of the bone of one of my food tokens broke off, causing the sticker to hang down. You can see this in the attached picture.
No need to worry about this, you can use scissors or some other sharp tool to cut off the extra millimetres.

At the end of decaling, you will have a few extra elements left over from each token. Two of stone, four of wood and six of food. This is no mere accident. If a sticker gets damaged or lost during the game, you can easily replace it with these.
And if there are more than that left on the sheet, it means you have an incomplete game and are missing one or more tokens! ​

In addition, there are two other stickers in the set: the mammoth and the eye. These are not part of the game, just extra items to make sure I don't leave the paper blank!​​​

1. This was my first sticker set for board games! Yeah!
2. In the first edition, all cavemen were white. Maybe it was the Shut Up & Shit Down video, maybe it was something else, but that changed for the second edition. You can now see all skin tones among the cavemen.
